GN Associates is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, misdelivered, or otherwise not received by a tenant. GN Associates does not monitor, track, accept, sign for, store, or otherwise take responsibility for packages delivered by USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, or any other carrier.

‍ Tenants are solely responsible for making arrangements to receive their packages and for contacting the appropriate carrier regarding delivery, tracking, pickup, redelivery, or any delivery-related concerns. Carrier services, policies, procedures, fees, delivery options, and pickup locations may change without notice. Tenants should confirm current information directly with the applicable carrier.

GN Associates does not accept or receive packages of any kind on behalf of our tenants.

‍All GN Associates buildings have a mailbox conveniently located in the lobby for tenants to receive regular postal mail.

‍Tenants are responsible for making arrangements to receive packages delivered to their residence. Please review the information below for each carrier.

‍ ‍📬 U.S. POSTAL SERVICE (USPS)

USPS packages may be delivered to the building and left in the designated mail/package area. If you do not want your package left unattended, we recommend making arrangements to receive the package directly.

‍Recommended options:

• ‍ Have someone present at the apartment to receive and sign for the delivery, when a signature is required.

• Use USPS Hold for Pickup when placing the order, if available.

If You Miss a USPS Delivery

If the carrier leaves a peach-colored PS Form 3849 (Redelivery Notice), follow the instructions on the notice to request redelivery or arrange to pick up the package at the Post Office.

You may also contact your local Post Office directly regarding the status and pickup options for your package.

USPS Hold for Pickup

With Hold for Pickup, the sender designates a specific Post Office location when purchasing postage. The package is sent directly to that Post Office and held at the counter rather than being delivered to the tenant's residence.

‍Items are typically held for 15 days, or 5 days for Priority Mail Express, with no additional fee.

USPS Package Pickup & Redelivery Information

‍ ‍📦 UPS

‍UPS packages may be delivered to the building and left in the designated mail/package area. If you do not want your package left unattended, we recommend making arrangements to receive the package directly.

‍Recommended options:

• Request a signature upon delivery whenever possible.

  • When a signature is required, the driver must obtain the required signature before completing delivery.

  • If no one is available, UPS will provide delivery instructions through a UPS InfoNotice or tracking information.

• Have the package shipped using a Hold for Pickup option, when available.

  • Check with UPS when placing your order to determine which pickup locations are available for your specific shipment.

📦 FEDEX

FedEx packages may be delivered to the building and left in the designated mail/package area. If you do not want your package left unattended, we recommend making arrangements to receive the package directly.

Recommended options:

• Request a signature upon delivery whenever possible.

  • When a signature is required, someone at the delivery address must sign for the package, depending on the type of signature service selected.

  • If no one is available, FedEx may leave a door tag with instructions for redelivery or pickup.

• Have the package shipped using Hold at FedEx Location, when available.

  • FedEx allows eligible packages to be redirected to a participating FedEx location for pickup through FedEx Delivery Manager.

‍ ‍📦 AMAZON DELIVERIES

Amazon packages are to be delivered directly to a resident’s apartment door.  If you do not want your Amazon package left unattended, you should make arrangements to receive the package directly.

Recommended options:‍ ‍

• Select a delivery option that requires a signature or in-person delivery, when available.

• Track your package through your Amazon account and make arrangements to be available when the package is scheduled to arrive.

• If available, use Amazon's delivery instructions to specify a preferred secure location.

Tenants are responsible for making arrangements with Amazon for any missed, delayed, or undelivered packages.
